Muncie's trails and parks

Trails and parks are available within walking distance from Ball State’s campus. Some of the most popular areas include Cardinal Greenways and Minnetrista, both of which host community events such as 5K races and a weekly farmers market.

“Whether you are looking for a place to swim, fish, hike, bike or just enjoy the outdoors we have it all! We encourage everyone to enjoy and utilize our park system,” the Muncie Parks Department states on their website. “Come out and play!”
