New Monster Hunter Stories details

In the newest iteration of Capcom's Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Riders will team up with what used to be their enemies to fight alongside each other. The game will be released in Japan in 2016.

Previous games of the series would have Hunters fighting monsters in order to survive. Now, choosable male or female Riders look to become one with nature. The adolescent protagonist will be caught up in adventure that will observe and question the overall Monster Hunter world.

Instead of an action-packed fighting system, battles' outcomes result from taking turns on an advantage-disadvantage basis. Also, monster eggs can be collected in game which will eventually hatch into different species that help players fight.
