Fans clamoring for more Witcher 3: Wild Hunt content won't have to wait much longer to get back into Northern Kingdoms. Heart of Stone, the first expansion announced for the game, will be out on Oct. 13.
CD Projekt Red has stated that the expansion will add 10 hours of gameplay along with a new storyline,
Step again into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, this time hired to defeat a ruthless bandit captain, Olgierd von Everec, a man who possesses the power of immortality. The expansion lets you choose your own way through an adventure that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost and outsmarting the most bizarre creatures Geralt has ever faced.
Additionally Heart of Stone will include a new Runeworlds system that allows players to tweak their tactics. Besides a digital release, the expansion will also receive a limited physical release that includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and all the DLC released so far along with two Gwent decks, an ingame-game trading card game.
