The campaign mode has been cut from the game due to the fact that the ''ambitious scope of the 1-4 player co-operative campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware.”

New details have been revealed about the last-generation version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which are sure to leave some fans disappointed. The campaign mode will not be included in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the newest entry in the popular shooter franchise.

The campaign mode has been cut from the game due to the fact that the ''ambitious scope of the 1-4 player co-operative campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware.” Other features, such as the Weapon Paint Shop and the suite of eSports tools, will also only be available in the current-gen versions of the game.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will still feature the multiplayer and Zombies portions of the game, so there will still be a lot to look forward to. The last-gen versions will be available to purchase for $49.99, and will also come with a digital copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops, the first game in the Black Ops series. The game will release on November 6.
