2018 - at Indiana

2019 - at Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis)

2020 - at Indiana

The Cardinals and Hoosiers will meet in Bloomington in 2018 and 2020, in addition to a previously scheduled game there in 2016. Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will be the venue when the teams meet in 2019.

"I think it's great for the state," Ball State offensive coordinator Joey Lynch said in an earlier interview with The Daily News. "When you have two Division I college sports [teams] playing each other, it's something that everyone looks forward to."

Lynch played quarterback for the Cardinals in 2006 when they met the Hoosiers. His father was an assistant coach for Indiana at the time.

The Hoosiers won that matchup in Muncie, 24-23. There have been seven meetings between the teams since the series began in 1997. Indiana won the first four meetings, but Ball State has won the last three, including a 41-39 win in 2012.

Ball State and Indiana will meet on Sept. 10 next season in Bloomington.
