More than 70 students and faculty gathered at the Bell Tower today to help with a thank you tribute to David Letterman. They were posing for a picture that will be featured in a video being sent to Letterman following his retirement.

Junior composition major Nathan Davis, who is spearheading the project, will hope for the best after the video goes out. Al Rent, the Letterman contact with University Marketing and Communications, will be in charge of sending it.

"We are getting it to people who will get it to him," Rent said. "From there, the response is a flip of a coin. It is in his hands or at least in the show's hands."
