The Cardinals lost the doubles point, but won four singles matches to take the match.

Singles play was close across the board, as three matches went into three sets. At No. 2 singles, Leonard defeated 6-1, 7-5 over Jeremy Schneider. Sophomore Andrew Stutz cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5.

Senior Patrick Elliott lost the first set, but came back to win against Matt Bishop 4-6, 7-6, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Freshman Jan Jirus won in similar fashion, defeating Freddy Abunku 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.

With the win, the Cardinals improve to 3-5 on the season. They will travel to take on Wright State at 10 a.m. on Feb. 22.
