WOMEN'S TENNIS: Cardinals complete day one of Cincinnati Invitational

The Ball State women's tennis team completed day one at the University of Cincinnati Invitational. 

In singles play, Courtney Earnest defeated Katya Bure of Cincinnati 6-2, 6-2. Sophomore Toni Ormond and junior Bethany Moore recorded wins for Ball State.

The Cardinals played in two doubles matches on the day. 

Against Bowling Green, Ball State swept all three matches.

Ball State was swept in the second doubles match of the day, as they fell to Xavier. 

The Cardinals will return to action on Oct. 11 on day two of the Cincinnati Invitational.
