Down two sets, the Ball State women’s volleyball team rallied for a 3-2 victory over Montana on Friday

Redshirt junior Hayley Benson led the Cardinals in kills with 13, while redshirt junior Alex Fuelling totaled 12. Redshirt junior Amanda Raker added 10 kills, giving Ball State three players with double-digit kills for the match.

After managing to only hit .035 as a team through the match's first two sets, the Cardinals answered by hitting .326 in the final three.

Ball State recorded nine blocks and seven total service aces.

The Cardinals improves to 3-1 on the season, and will look to increase its winning streak to three straight at 9 p.m. tonight against Wyoming.
