Six Ball State cross country runners earned career-best 5k times at the Miami Invitational on Sept. 13.
Seniors Courtney and Caitlynn Edon finished 10th and 15th respectively, with times of 18:17.63 and 18:30.70. Freshman Jessica Bryzek finished the day placing 39th with a final time of 19:31.83, while sophomore Emma Manchess placed 40th. Freshmen Sarah Hoppes and Rachel Billingsley ended the meet placing in 48th and 49th.
All six times were career-bests.
The Ball State cross country team returns to action on Sept. 19 at the Indiana Intercollegiate meet in West Lafayette, Ind.
