Ball State senior Taylor Rager was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week today.
Rager, who has won the award a total of three times this year, had one of her most productive weeks of the season.
The Cardinals’ cleanup hitter batted .500 over the week going 6-12, while adding three home runs to increase her season total to 10. Rager also collected seven RBIs and scored seven runs. Her slugging percentage was 1.333.
Rager will look to continue her play as Ball State begins the MAC postseason tournament this week at Firestone Stadium in Akron, Ohio. The Cardinals will take on Miami at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday .
