The Ball State football team announced today that John Strollo will be its new offensive line coach. Strollo held the same position in 2011.

“John is an outstanding person and a tremendous offensive line coach,” Ball State head coach Pete Lembo said in a media release. “We are very fortunate to have him back. … A significant part of our offense, both philosophically and technically, has been painted by John’s brush since 2008.”

Strollo served as tight ends coach at Penn State for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

In 2011, Ball State ranked seventh in the Mid-American Conference in rushing yards, with 138.4 yards per game. It also gave up 11 sacks that season, second in the conference.

Prior to the 2011 season, Strollo coached offensive line under Lembo at Elon University.
