A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after a collision with a car around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.
The accident caused police to close the southbound stretch of McKinley Avenue from Riverside Avenue to around Burkhardt Building. It had not reopened as of 9:30 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. The driver's condition is unknown.
