UPDATE: No. 1 Ball State will play No. 6 Ohio at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Ohio defeated Kent State 5-4.
Due to rain delays, the Ball State softball team will continue play in the Mid-American Conference Championship Tournament on Saturday.
After defeating Toledo 10-0 in an 11 a.m. elimination game, the Cardinals were originally scheduled to compete again at 7:30 p.m.
Ball State awaits the winner of No. 2 Kent State and No. 6 Ohio, which is currently scheduled to resume at 9 p.m. Ohio leads Kent State 5-4 in the top of the sixth inning.
