A number of accidents were caused in Muncie and the Ball State area by the heavy snowfall, including the following areas:
The intersection of Bethel and Tillotson
The intersection of Walnut and Centennial
The intersection of Tillotson and University
The intersection of McGalliard and County Road 500 West
The intersection of 18th and Madison
The intersection of Chadam and McGalliard
An accident was also reported at the intersection of Bethel and Wheeling, where a truck was reported to be on fire. The truck fire has since been put out by the Muncie Fire Department.
