In response to the article about St Mary's new pet policy:
No pets is the reason I don't live on campus. My desire to keep my pet (of whom I raised by hand from near birth) keeps me from even considering any of the benefits of living on campus. I even went to another college for a year just because of the 1st year dorm requirement here. I really wish at least the college-owned apartments permitted pets. Even if they charged a large fee it would be cheaper than where I live now. I wonder if Ball State would even consider that. If they did I would definitely consider doing my grad work here at Ball State. The way things are now, there's little even attracting me to stay to finish my undergrad...
