With the release of EA Sports' "NCAA Football 13" on Tuesday, football fans flocked to not only get the game but to also see what their favorite team and players are rated.
For Ball State's case, the game gave eight Cardinals with ratings in the 80s. Linebacker Travis Freeman earned the top rating for Ball State with an 86 overall rating. Quarterback Keith Wenning was the second highest rated player with an overall rating of 85.
Punter Scott Kovanda has the third highest rating for Ball State with an overall rating of 83.
For the rest of the Top 10, guard Kitt O'Brien and running back Jahwan Edwards are both rated 82. Kicker Steven Schott, linebacker Tony Martin and guard Jordan Hansel are rated 80. Running back Barrington Scott is rated 76 and cornerback Jason Pinkston is the top rated player in the secondary with an overall rating of 75.
Western Michigan quarterback Alex Carder is the highest rated quarterback in the Mid-American Conference with an overall rating of 88. Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton is the second highest rated quarterback in the MAC with an overall rating of 87.
Central Michigan quarterback Ryan Radcliff and Miami's quarterback Zac Dysert are both rated 86. Toledo's Terrance Owens is rated 85 along with Wenning, making them tied for the fifth best quarterback in the MAC.
Buffalo's Branden Oliver is the highest rated running back in the conference with an overall rating of 90.
Freeman is the second-highest rated middle linebacker in the MAC with his 86 rating behind Toledo's Dan Molls, who is the highest rated linebacker with a rating of 87.
