WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Ball State gets recommit from Winchester guard

Morrison originally decommitted after Packard resigned

Despite losing two commitments since Kelly Packard resigned from her head coach position for women's basketball at Ball State, new coach Brady Sallee is still trying to keep the already committed talent for next season.

The Star-Press reported that Winchester guard Jill Morrison has recommitted to Ball State.

Morrison, who will be a senior in 2012-13, was recruited by Packard and committed before she announced her resignation. Sallee was able to continue recruiting her after Morrison opened up the recruiting process again.

Morrison had been named the 2011-12 Star-Press athlete of the year.
