A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 10 p.m.
The National Weather Service lists Delaware among 19 Indiana counties that could experience thunderstorms this evening. The temperature will drop to 57 degrees and rainfall is expected to be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.
The weather service indicates the worst of the storm will probably take place before 8 p.m. It predicts showers and thunderstorms through the evening due to an upper level weather disturbance that will move east across East Central Indiana tonight.
More thunderstorms are possible throughout the week, except possibly on Wednesday afternoon and evening.
