Ball State senior center Jarrod Jones has been named one of the 25 finalists for the Lou Henson Award given to the Mid-Major Player of the Year.
Jones is the only member from the Mid-American Conference on the list of finalists.
His 15.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game rank third and second, respectively, in the MAC this season.
Along with the Lou Henson nomination, Jones has also won four MAC Player of the Week Awards and was named a Preseason All-MAC-West Division selection.
