MUNCIE, Ind. — A registered sex offender who allegedly told police he is HIV positive and has Hepatitis C has been arrested on charges that he sexually abused a teenage Indiana boy.
Forty-four-year-old Rex Allen Price of Greenfield was being held without bond Saturday in the Delaware County Jail in Muncie. The Star Press reported he faces preliminary charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, dissemination of material harmful to a child and child solicitation.
The jail had no record of Price having an attorney.
Authorities said Price showed child pornography to a Muncie boy in his early teens, then fondled him and performed a sex act on him.
Price was convicted of child molesting in Hancock County in 1991 and is listed on the state online sex offender registry.
