A huge 26-6 second half run propelled Ball State to 71-48 victory over Tennessee-Martin Saturday afternoon.
The victory marks the Cardinals fourth straight, and their first road victory on the season.
Jarrod Jones led Ball State (4-2) with a game-high 22 points, seven rebounds, one steal and two blocks.
The Cardinals shot 72 percent in the second half, hitting 7-of-8 from three point land.
Junior guard Jesse Berry came up big off the bench posting 15 points, shooting 6-for-11 from the floor. Senior point guard Randy Davis scored 10 points and dished out six assists.
Troy King led Tennessee-Martin (2-7) with 16 points. King was the only player for the Skyhawks to score double digits.
The Cardinals' defense held the Skyhawks to a season-low 48 points. That's the lowest point total for a Ball State opponent since SIU Edwardsville scored 46 points last year.
