The Ball State men's golf team is tied for fourth place after two rounds of play at the Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
Leading the team is senior TJ Carpenter, who is tied for fourth with a four-under-par score of 140. Junior Joe Gasser is tied for 22nd with an even-par 144. Junior Alex Stinson is tied for 25th with a one-over 145. Sophomore Tyler Merkel is tied for 47th with a five-over 149. Rounding out the lineup, junior Tony Lazzara is tied for 54th with a 150 (+6).
Playing as an individual, junior Brodie Williams is tied for tenth with a two-under 142.
Ball State will finish the final round of the tournament this morning.
