For the fourth time in her collegiate career, Ball State University outdoor track & field redshirt junior Thekla Lorenz has been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.
After earning the award the past two indoor and outdoor seasons, Lorenz was again named to the team with a 3.833 grade-point average.
Lorenz was named as one of 28 student-athletes on the team. The team is voted on by faculty athletic representatives at MAC schools.
Student-athletes must have a minimum of 3.20 GPA and participate in at least 50 percent of the contest for that season.
First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year are not eligible.
