The National Weather Service forecasts chances of extreme weather today in Muncie and Delaware County including severe thunderstorms and a flash flood watch.
A flood warning is in effect for the White River today. Between two and four inches of rain are possible across Indiana tonight.
A thunderstorm is likely this afternoon and evening with the possibility of damaging winds, hail, lightning and heavy downpours. There is still a threat of flash flooding, especially south of Interstate 70.
Thunderstorms are also expected on Saturday and Sunday, according to the weather service.
