Halloween weekend kept the University Police Department a little busier than usual.
Twenty-one arrests were made over the weekend, Gene Burton, director of public safety, said.
Most of the arrests were made on charges of public intoxication, minor consumption and possession of paraphernalia.
Burton said he couldn't say if there were more or less arrests this Halloween than past years.
"Halloween weekends are a lot like normal weekends," he said. "There are parties and we see alcohol-related problems [and] criminal mischief."
Burton said students should always make sure they know what they're drinking at parties and know who they're going out with to stay safe.
