Ball State issued a Public Safety Notice around 12:50 a.m. Thursday to students warning of an assault near the Architecture Building.
According to the notice, a man followed a female student on McKinley Avenue. He threatened her, pulled on her purse and knocked her to the ground. The student was not significantly injured.
The notice described the assailant as a 200-pound, 5-foot, 10-inch male wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with a white logo, blue jeans and white shoes.
