At the Homecoming fashion show tonight, candidates will strut their stuff in zany costumes and the top 10 student candidates for king and queen will be announced.

For $1, anyone can attend the fashion show to see what the Homecoming candidates have created for costumes. The fashion show will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Pruis Hall.

"A lot of people will go along with the theme," Long said. "Others will be dressed up as couples."

Steering committee members will pose as judges and will award a "Best Dressed" at the end of the show.

Michelle Johnson, director of alumni special events, said the event is a fun way to open up the Homecoming season.

"It is really fun because all of the candidates parade down the runway in crazy costumes," Johnson said. "It is just kind of a fun, quirky event we like to start things off with."
