Housekeeping was in order at Wednesday's Student Government Association senate meeting.
"We were trying to get some of the administrative tasks out of the way so that we can get set up and ready to go for this next year," said Matt Whitlock, SGA President.
Student Connection announced its cabinet members and credentials board for the 2010-2011 election year.
Senate voted to approve Devin Hillsdon-Smith as Parliamentarian. Hillsdon-Smith served as Parliamentarian for Cardinal Impact prior to working with Student Connection.
Student Connection presented senate with a timeline of events and platform markers at yesterday's meeting in order to map its administrative route.
Whitlock and Student Connection presented senate with a time line in order to keep the slate on track.
"We want you (senate) to hold us accountable," Whitlock said.
For the upcoming month Student Connection hopes to set up a financial committee, enforce senate professionalism and support an established philanthropy.
