No census help for students on campus

Students who want face to face help filling out census forms will need to venture off campus to one of three locations around Muncie.

The Muncie Census Bureau originally planned to have a Questionnaire Assistance Center in the Atrium; however, that wasn't approved by the regional office in Chicago.

Ball State University will have a Be Counted Center in the Atrium by the Ball State Bookstore that will have bins with census questionnaires for those who have lost their forms or need them in a different language, according to a press release.

Students who live on campus or off campus but not with parents are required to complete a questionnaire. Census takers will be on campus to verify the on-campus population next week. Students who live off campus and don't return completed forms will be visited by census takers later in the spring.

More information about the census can be found at www.bsu.edu/2010census.
