The Ball State University men's basketball team saw its four-game winning streak snapped with a 75-70 overtime loss to the University of Akron in today's Mid-American Conference action at Worthen Arena.
Sophomore center Jarrod Jones led three Ball State scorers in double figures with 16 points. Junior forward Malik Perry and sophomore guard Randy Davis each added 15 points for the Cardinals (12-10, 6-4 MAC).
For Akron, sophomore guard Humpty Hitchens had a game-high 17 points.
Ball State returns to action Wednesday when it plays host to Kent State University at Worthen Arena.
