Ball State promotes sexual responsibility through awareness week

The office of Health Education at Ball State University will be educating students about sexual responsibility starting today with educational games and giving out information at Studebaker West Complex. The week will end Thursday at Woodworth Complex.

The National Sexual Responsibility week is an annual event in which universities hand out information and keep students educated about healthy sexual relationships, health educator Julie Sturek said.

"There is no such thing as safe sex," she said. "But you can always learn how to protect yourself."

Students will have the chance to play while learning about sexual relationships, contraceptives and abstinence, Sturek said.

This week's activities:
Monday: Condom Kiosk at Studebaker West - 7 p.m.
Tuesday: Sex-tac-toe competition at the Atrium - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday: Condom Kiosk at Lafollette - 6 p.m.
Thursday: Condom Kiosk at Woodworth - 6 p.m.
