The Ball State athletics department Monday morning announced the hiring of Muncie native Amy Behrman as interim women's tennis coach.
Behrman replaces longtime former coach Kathy Bull, who was fired in October for multiple NCAA violations.
The announcement comes just five days before the Cardinals open up their 2010 schedule at 2 p.m. Saturday as they host the University of Dayton at the Muncie Northwest YMCA.
