Ball State University officials are considering dozens of ideas submitted by staff, faculty and students on the way to cutting $15.2 million from the school's budget by the middle of next year.
Fifty-two ideas have come in as of Friday through a special e-mail address set up to take the campus' input from budgplan2010@bsu.edu.
President Jo Ann Gora and other university leaders will consider the ideas on the basis of merit and magnitude.
Randy Howard, vice president of Business Affairs and university treasurer, said a few common examples from the e-mail forum include reviewing energy efficiency, reducing hours of service across campus and installing motx00x00x00'x00x10
