' Junior Lee Meyer came off the bench with 19 kills to carry Ball State University over Grand Canyon University Thursday night. The Cardinals won 3-1 (30-32, 31-29, 30 -23, 30-25), winning the final three games after dropping the first.
Senior libero Billy Ebel led the Cardinals in digs with 20, as' Ball State went deep into its bench playing 10 players compared to Grand Canyon's seven.
The victory moves Ball State to 3-1 on the year and 1-1 in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association.
Ball State faces a quick turnaround as it plays Carthage College Friday at 7:30 in Worthern Arena.
