INDIANAPOLIS — The Ball State University women's swimming and diving team ended the weekend on a good note defeating IUPUI, Saint Louis University and Western Illinois University in a four-way meet at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis on Saturday.
The Cardinals defeated the Jaguars 106-34, the Leathernecks 104-35 and the Billickans 99.5-40.5.
Ball State won 10 of the 16 events on the day. Elizabeth Spilman won both the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 200-yard breaststroke.
Mary Ehresman, Maria Gramelspacher, Sara Hostetler, Emily Karwoski, Alana Bader and Katie Byslma also won events for the Cardinals.
Ball State will next be in action Saturday when it plays host to Michigan State University at Lewellen Pool.
