Scotty's Brewhouse is giving away free food in return for toys this holiday season.
Scotty's announced Friday afternoon that it is participating in this year's Toys For Tots program and anyone who donates a toy to the Village restaurant will receive a free order of dill chips.
Toys For Tots is a national program organized by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. In its 61 year, the program collects and distributes unwrapped toys to underprivileged children throughout the United States.
All the toys donated to one of the five Scotty's Brewhouses will be distributed to children on the Salvation Army recipient list, including patients at the Riley Children's Hospital.
Scotty's goal is to collect at least 50 toys at each of its restaurants.
The donated toys will be collected Dec. 15.
