The Ball State University women's gymnastics team fell to the University of Kentucky 187.45-192.15 on Saturday in an exhibition meet in Worthen Arena.
The Cardinals were led by sophomore Brittney Emmons, who scored a 38.35 in the all-around, finishing second to Whitney Rose of Kentucky with a 38.8.
Ball State will open regular season play on Jan. 10 against Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich.
