Ball State University officials have declared an emergency on campus after receiving a bomb threat at Ball Gym. University Police Department are in the process of evacuating the building.
As a further precaution, UPD has shut down Riverside Avenue from the Scramble Light to Brair Road.
Ball State University issued an emergency notification at about 8:40 p.m. telling students to avoid the area until the situation was declared all clear.
