The Ball State University soccer team lost to Central Michigan University 3-0 on Friday in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
With the game scoreless and less than five minutes remaining in the first half, Central Michigan's Amanda Waugh scored the game-winning goal. The Chippewas scored two more goals in the first 25 minutes of the second half to take a three goal lead.
The Cardinals (4-8, 2-3 Mid-American Conference) were outshot 28-5 in its second consecutive loss.
Ball State's next game will be against Eastern Michigan University at 1 p.m. Sunday in Michigan.
