iLocker to go offline for 6 hours

Ball State University Computing Services will take iLocker offline for maintenance at 5:15 p.m. Friday.

Todd Phelps, assistant director of operations and enterprise systems, said the maintenance was scheduled during Fall Break to be convenient for students.

The service will remain offline for about six hours during the routine maintenance check of the iLocker servers, University Computing Services said. The test happens once a year.

Those with questions can contact the Unified Technology Support HelpDesk at 285-1517.

iLocker is similar to an online flash drive that can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection.

Students can set up an iLocker account by going to the HelpDesk page of Ball State's Web site.
