FOOTBALL: Page done for the year

Coach Stan Parrish announced Tuesday afternoon that starting quarter back Kelly Page will miss the remainder of the season with a broken thumb.

Page was injured in the second quarter of Ball State University's 31-17 loss to Bowling Green State University last Saturday. The freshman will undergo surgery Wednesday and will not be able to resume football activities for two to six weeks.

Senior Tanner Justice will make his first career start Saturday at Eastern Michigan University. Justice has appeared in three games this season as quarterback. He is also the Cardinals' holder.
