Indiana State Excise Police issued 19 citations during Homecoming tailgating:
- One adult jailed for public intoxication and disorderly conduct
- One minor jailed for minor possession of alcohol and public intoxication
- 11 minors issued citations for minor consumption and possession of alcohol
- Two adults issued citations for possession of marijuana less than 30 grams
- One minor issued citation for minor possession of alcohol and possession of false identification
The State Excise Police are the law enforcement division of the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission. They will continue enforcement efforts in Delaware County and the Ball State area throughout the school year, according to an excise police press release.
