BASEBALL: Hazelbaker goes to the Red Sox in MLB Draft

Center fielder taken in 4th round

The Boston Red Sox selected Ball State University center fielder Jeremy Hazelbaker in the fourth round of the MLB First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday.

Hazelbaker was selected with the 138th overall pick and the 27th of the fourth round. He is the highest draft pick for Ball State since Ben Snyder was taken in the fourth round in 2006.
