63rd Annual Summer Chamber Music FestivalThe Ball State School of Music will host the first concert in a four concert series tonight at 8 p.m. The 63rd Annual Chamber Music Festival will take place in Sursa Performance Hall, showcasing traditional chamber music. Students, faculty and members of the community will be featured. Admission is free and open to the public.

Doc's Music Hall features acoustic rock artist Dave Elwert tonight at 10 p.m. Rock band The Mariner's Hollow will open for blues, southern rock band Shaggy Wanda at Doc's On Dill tonight at 10 p.m. Both shows are free of charge and 21+.

Freaky Tikki FridayFreaky Tikki Friday kicks off their first event of the summer tomorrow night from 7 to 11 p.m. The Healthy Heart of the City, Doc's Music Hall, the Heorot and Blue Bottle will host live music, food and drinks each Friday night through August. Southern rock, acoustic artist Jake Hendershot will be the featured artist. The event takes place outside, next to the Blue Bottle. Admission is free, and you must be more than 21 years old to enter.

Doc's Music Hall showcases jazz musicians Peterson, Simmons and Dunn from 8 to 10 p.m. Following their perfomance, Doc's Music Hall presents "Metal Night," featuring Nomadic. Experimental rock band Super Massive will play at Doc's on Dill at 10 p.m. Both shows are free of charge and 21+.
Saturday
IPR 7th Annual Auction and Wine Tasting FundraiserIndiana Public Radio will host "An Evening in the Vineyards" on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Alumni Center. The event offers wine samples from both local and national wineries paired specifically with a hor d'oeuvre. Numerous items will be available to bid on through a live and silent auction. Live jazz music will be provided by Larry McWilliams Quartet throughout the evening. General admission is $17, IPR members are $15 and the Wine Tasting 101 session is an additional $5.
