The McKinley Mile after party scheduled for Saturday night has been canceled, American Advertising Federation President Jeff Renoe said.
"It's not happening," he said, "I don't have anything to say about the issue. I honestly have no idea why it's not going on."
The after party was supposed to happen at Doc's on Dill in the Village. Mike Martin, owner of Doc's on Dill, said Renoe the party isn't happening because of a miscommunication between the bar and the AAF.
Renoe mistook Doc's on Dill for Doc's Music Hall in downtown Muncie, Martin said. Doc's Music Hall was the intended venue.
He said the mix up was just as much his fault, Martin said.
