Four rounds of the 2009 NFL Draft are complete, and former Ball State University quarterback Nate Davis has not been selected yet.
Five quarterbacks went in the first four rounds of this weekend's Draft. Three of the quarterbacks went in the first round Saturday.
Matthew Stafford of the University of Georgia went first overall to the Detroit Lions; Mark Sanchez of the University of Southern California went to fifth overall to the New York Jets; and Josh Freeman of Kansas State University went 17th overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
West Virginia University's Pat White went 44th overall, which was in the second round, to the Miami Dolphins. White played quarterback in college but might be a receiver in the NFL, analysts have said.
Stephen McGee of Texas A&M University went with the first pick of the fourth round today.
Scout.com Draft analyst Chris Stueber said Wednesday that Davis would likely be a fifth- or sixth-round selection. Stueber said Davis would compete with Rhett Bomar of Sam Houston State University to be the next quarterback selected.
