Quarterbacks continue to be chosen in the 2009 NFL Draft, but Nate Davis has not.
The New York Giants took Sam Houtson State University's Rhett Bomar with the 15th pick of the fifth round, which was the 151st pick overall.
Bomar was the sixth quarterback taken this weekend ahead of the former Ball State University quarterback.
Scout.com Draft analyst Chris Stueber said Wednesday that Davis would likely be a fifth- or sixth-round selection. When Davis declared for the Draft in January, Stueber rated him as a first or second round pick.
Matthew Stafford of the University of Georgia went first overall to the Detroit Lions; Mark Sanchez of the University of Southern California went to fifth overall to the New York Jets; and Josh Freeman of Kansas State University went 17th overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
West Virginia University's Pat White went 44th overall, which was in the second round, to the Miami Dolphins. White played quarterback in college but might be a receiver in the NFL, analysts have said.
Stephen McGee of Texas A&M University went with the first pick of the fourth round today.
