BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Even a two-time defending national champion couldn't get in the way of the Ball State University women's basketball team in the Cardinals' first-ever NCAA Tournament game.
The No. 12 seed Ball State upset No. 5 seed University of Tennessee 71-55 tonight at Western Kentucky University's E.A. Diddle Arena.
Senior guard Porchia Green led all scorers with 23 points.
