Village restaurant opens tonight

A new restaurant will open for business for the first time tonight in the former location of The Creole Kid.

Mugly's Pub and Eatery will open its doors by 6 p.m., restaurant owner Myles Ogea said. It will serve standard pub fare on its menu, such as burgers, chicken wings and pizza, he said.

The Creole Kid will move next door to the former location of TJ's Great Burgers, and the name will change to Crawdaddy's, Ogea said. The business owner said he also plans to open another restaurant called The Late Plate in the former location of El Camino's. Crawdaddy's and The Late Plate will open later this month, Ogea said.
